Plant the Seed began when Hayley and Jen started delivering homemade vegan sourdough sandwiches on their bikes during the first summer of the pandemic. Life had gotten pretty scary so they thought why not spread some joy - who doesn't love a good sandwich?! - whilst celebrating the benefits of eating small, local and plant-based.

Since then, they've gone from a delivery service in London, to a market stall travelling around the South East, to having a permanent residency at Licence 2 Kale in Hastings to now finally having their very own shop in St Leonards-on-sea in East Sussex.

Just like the team at L2K, they believe food is one of life's biggest joys and should be just that - joyful! By choosing to avoid cruelty to animals, negative health consequences, and environmental damage - they make really good sandwiches that help you do a little better too.

You can find their Sourdough Toasties every Wednesday to Sunday at Licence 2 Kale Rye, at 55 The Mint.

I started Booyah Vitality, our family business, at the beginning of 2020 during the first National lockdown. Health is now at the forefront of most peoples’ minds because of COVID and we’re on a mission to help people stay healthy.
